Links
As I write about various subjects, I will be adding more links.
About Tools:
- Early American Industries Association – http://www.eaiainfo.org/ : This is a great source for information on, surprise, early American industries (technologies, tools, all sorts of cool stuff).
- Fine Tool Journal – http://www.finetoolj.com/ : This magazine is primarily the catalog for a quarterly auction of antique tools, but there is lots more. Articles on old tools and manufacturers, as well as knowledgeable reviews of new tools.
“Luddite” Philosophy
- Low Tech Magazine http://www.lowtechmagazine.com/ : I just took a quick look, but I liked what I saw.
I may link tool manufacturers at some point, but not yet. Please let me (in the comment field) know if you find a problem with any of these links.
Furniture:
-
These folks asked me to post a link to their site. Seems like nice stuff, but on a much larger production scale than mine.
- “JHE’s Log Furniture Place – No matter what style of rustic furniture you’re looking for, we have it here at JHE’s. Top quality barnwood furniture and log furniture for every room. Huge selection!”
